Plain English approved logo season ticket

This is a discount scheme to help organisations have the plain English approved logo on more of their documents.

As you know, the ‘standard’ cost of our logo is £200 + VAT. We make this charge for approving a document or set of documents. Therefore, if you sent us say three leaflets for approval, we would often only make one £200 charge. However, if you sent us the leaflets separately, we would quote separately and the cost of the logo would be £200 for each document. We realise this cost could be prohibitive for an organisation with a lot of small documents that may be owned by different budget holders, or one which produces a trickle of new documents over the long term.

We now have a logo 'season ticket' where an organisation can pay a fixed sum which covers a set number of logos. The documents can come from anywhere in the organisation. There is no time limit on the season ticket, so even if it takes years to put all the documents through the system, the arrangement still applies. The cost gives a substantial discount on the standard price of the logo. The more logos the ticket covers, the bigger the discount.

If you have a season ticket, and you send us a set of documents that we would normally include under one logo, we will still count them as using just one logo from your season ticket.

The costs

The costs are (all plus VAT):
- season ticket covering up to 5 documents: £800 (a 20% saving)
- season ticket covering up to 10 documents: £1500 (a 25% saving)
- season ticket covering up to 15 documents: £2000 (a 33% saving)
- season ticket covering up to 25 documents: £2500 (a 50% saving)
- season ticket covering up to 50 documents: £4000 (a 60% saving).

The one-off charge is payable in advance with our usual 30-day terms applying to the invoice.

How it works

The arrangement can cover just your own documents, your department or the whole organisation – whatever you tell us. Obviously the bigger the ‘unit’ that has the season ticket, the more quickly it will be used up. On the other hand, the cost is spread more thinly among budget holders.

Once the arrangement is in place we will mark any quotes we send you, showing that there will be no extra charge for the logo on the document(s). If your acceptance form comes back showing that you want the logo, we will start the approval process for the document(s). Each time we do this, we will let you (or a named contact) know so that you can keep an overview of which documents are in line for approval. Similarly, when a document is approved we will let you know, and keep you up to date on how many logos are left on the season ticket.
