Parking in St Thomas Street

We are writing to ask for your views about proposals to change the time limit for parking in St Thomas Street. Some residents have suggested that the one-hour limit should be changed to a two-hour one, to allow people more time to do their shopping.

In setting the one-hour limit we tried to encourage shoppers and give them enough time to do their shopping. We thought a two-hour limit might lead to people who work nearby travelling to work in their cars and parking them on the street.

Do you think the time limit should be increased? Councillors will be discussing this on (date) and would like to have your comments before making a decision.
